Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director best known as the star of Birdman. As a versatile actor, he has the ability to play comedy and dramatic parts. His professional career has seen him play a variety of characters who are romantic, and also in action-packed films. As a teenager the actor developed an appreciation in performing and acting. He then tried comedy stand-up when he was a teenager. Although his stand-up show wasn't a success, it did pave the road for his acting. In order to be successful as a comic, he got a job as a cameraman at an local cable television station. While working at the television station discovered the desire to work the front of cameras. In a few episodes, Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he got the role on TV. An actor with natural talent, he gained popularity quickly on television. His comedic roles made him famous and he embarked upon the career of a filmmaker with high ambitions. The actor became more famous for his role as Batman, the titular superhero in Tim Burton's Batman. As time passed the actor's acting abilities were improved, and he started exploring the possibility of directing and production. He received several awards and nominations for his role in the 2014 film Birdman.
